You know that soon it is going to be Halloween on the 31st of October. All the children wear costumes and go to their neighbors knock at their door and they say “Trick or treat”. If the people give them sweets, it means that they’ve got a treat from them and if they don’t give sweets, they play a trick on them. It’s very funny to do a trick! Oh, I like Halloween so much! Don’t you like it, too? I think that you like to hear Halloween stories, too, am I right? Well, here’s a Halloween story that I just wrote for you, I do hope that you will enjoy it:
Long ago there was The Land of Witches and Wizards.
On every Halloween the witches were making potions (good ones, not poisoned) and tricks on the people.
What the wizards were doing? Nothing! Lazing all day, especially on Halloween.
They were looking for the ingredients for the potions and...that’s all...Sometimes they were helping the witches to make the potions that were a little bit hard to make. Now, I think you want to know what happened on a Halloween day...I’m going to tell you right now. Lilly, a (little bit silly) witch made a potion that almost ruined the Halloween!
Let me explain to you: The King (who was a wizard, but not a lazy one), taught all the witches how to make The Halloween Potion. This potion could make the Halloween day more beautiful. The ingredients were: 1 spider web, 2 bats, 3 cats and 4 hats (from the witches). But, of course, Lilly (who was, as I told you, silly) didn’t make the potion right. Instead of putting in the potion pot one spider web, she put two spider webs! What did happen? All of a sudden the candies from the children disappeared, the jack-o-lantern pumpkins were scary now and...a lot of terrible things happened and I can’t tell them because it will take a whole day! But all these mean...a ruined Halloween day! The King got so mad on Lilly. He said to her: “Lilly, you must bring the Halloween day back or...it could end badly!”.
“Don’t worry, Your Majesty, I will bring the Halloween day back! I know where I made the mistake!” Lilly said. Now Lilly put only one spider web and everything was okay. The King with the witches and the wizards were happy! If Lilly wouldn’t bring the Halloween day back, everything could remain a disaster...forever! Lilly saved the Halloween (even though she was silly).:)
If it wasn’t Lilly, you couldn’t have a perfect Halloween day! So, you should thank Lilly (if you are going to meet her someday...). Happy Halloween to all of you!
Don’t forget to trick or treat your neighbors! The End
