One day, Angelina and Alice went to Miss Lilly’s Ballet School to practice with their friends: William, Flora, Felicity, Gracie, Vici, Marco and A.J. There were the horrible Pinkpaws, Penelope and Priscilla, too! Angelina hated them so much! They were very stupid and bad with the others! When they arrived, the other friends were already there, at the ballet school. Angelina put her pink tutu and her pink ballet shoes on. She couldn’t wait to start dancing! "Hello, Miss Lilly!" said the mouselings when the ballet teacher arrived. "Good morning, my darlings! Are you ready to start dancing?" asked Miss Lilly. "Yes.” shouted the mouselings. "Good then! But, before we start, I have some news." said Miss Lilly. The mouselings gathered around her. "Madame Zizi called me yesterday to tell you that she wants to make a ballet show in Paris for the little mouselings at Disneyland!" Miss Lilly said. Angelina and Alice looked at each other amazed! "Madame Zizi needs five dancers to go there." said Miss Lilly. Then everybody started to shout: "Take me, take me, me, ME!" Miss Lilly clapped her paws three times and said: "Shhhh!” Everyone stopped shouting to listen. "I can’t take all of you to the ballet show." Then Miss Lilly showed her green hat and some pink little papers. "Write your first name on the sheets of paper and then put them in my green hat. Tomorrow, we will find out who will go to Paris.” Miss Lilly said. Angelina and Alice wrote their names with BIG letters and put the little papers in Miss Lilly’s hat. After everyone had finished, Miss Lilly said: "Come on, let’s start dancing." After the ballet lessons, Angelina trudged home beside Alice. "Maybe both of us will go to Paris!" said Angelina. "Yeah... that would be fantastic!" said Alice. "I’m looking forward to tomorrow!" said Angelina, waving to Alice goodbye.
The next day, everyone was excited. Miss Lilly clapped her paws for attention. "Sit down, everyone, please!" Miss Lilly said. Angelina sat down with Alice and William. Miss Lilly took out the first bit of paper. "What a surprise! The first dancer is Angelina Mouseling!" the ballet teacher said. When Angelina heard that, she stood up and she started to dance with joy like her favorite ballerina, Serena Silvertail. "Congratulations, Angelina! Now let’s see who’s the next lucky dancer." Miss Lilly took out another sheet of paper. "Oh my, the next dancer is Alice Nimbletoes!" said Miss Lilly. Then Angelina and Alice danced together happily. "The next dancer is William Longtail! The other one is Flora Greyfur! And the LAST one is Felicity Longwhiskers!" said Miss Lilly with delight. The five mouselings said together: "Hoooooooray for us!” "Well done, my darlings!" exclaimed Miss Lilly. After the ballet lessons, Angelina was very happy! "Can you believe it, Alice? We’re going to Paris!” said Angelina. Then she saw Gracie and Vici. They were very sad! Vici was almost crying! Angelina went to them. "I’m really sorry for you! Maybe you will have better luck next time!” Angelina said. Marco and A.J. were not so sad, but they still thought that one of them would go with the others to Paris. Penelope and Priscilla were VERY ANGRY! "It is all your fault, Angelina!” said Priscilla, trying to hit her. Angelina was suprised. Alice said: "What did she do? Leave her alone or I will hit YOU!” Angelina said: "Thank you, Alice! Those stupid twins are just jealous! Don’t listen to them.” Miss Lilly went to the five mouselings. "We will go to Paris tomorrow with a plane, ok?” she said. "Yes, Miss Lilly!” the mouselings said. When Angelina went home, she told her mother: "Mom, I have some great news! Tomorrow I will GO to PARIS!" "Oh, Angelina, that’s wonderful! I’m proud of you!” Mrs. Mouseling said. Angelina went in her room to pack her suitcase. She put her clothes, her diary, her favorite doll, Mousie, and some other things. The next day, Angelina met her friends at the airport. They waited for Miss Lilly to come. When she arrived, she gave the mouselings the tickets and went to check in. Then, they went in the plane. They arrived in Paris in three hours. They went to a 5-star hotel. The next day, they started to practice in the palace that was near the hotel. The show was called “The Princesses and the Knight”. The costumes were very beautiful. Angelina was very proud to be a princess with a shiny pink dress. They practiced many days until they learned all the steps. Then, it was time to do the show at Disneyland. Everyone was excited, especially Angelina. When a trumpet blew, Miss Lilly announced that the show was about to begin. The little mouselings cheered. Angelina, Alice, Flora and Felicity started to dance. Then William (the Knight) appeared on stage and started to dance with all the princesses. At the end of the show, everyone clapped and said: "Bravo!" It was a big success. When they went to the hotel to eat, Miss Lilly said: “I’m very proud of all of you! As a reward, tomorrow we will have a walk on the streets of Paris!” The five mouselings were happy. They stayed a whole week in Paris. They liked Le Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and Versailles. They had a picnic there. When they went home, in Chipping Cheddar, they were very happy that they saw Paris and that their performance was a magic show.
