Before starting, I want you to know something: I am the BIGGEST fan of the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books!!! I love all Greg’s diaries (oops, sorry, journals; you know what Greg says: “First of all, let me get something straight: this is a JOURNAL, not a diary.”)!!! I’ve read all the books (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Rodrick Rules”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – The Last Straw”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Dog Days”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – The Ugly Truth”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Cabin Fever”, both “The Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself” books and “The Wimpy Kid Movie Diary”) and I’ve seen all the movies (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” – 2010, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Rodrick Rules” – 2011 and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Dog Days” – 2012). I also have got “The Wimpy Kid 2013 Calendar” (with cool bonus stickers inside and really awesome pictures on each page of a month!) and I bought three notebooks, a pencil case and some pencils with Greg from Germany (“Gregs Tagebuch - Von Idioten Umzing

„Călăreţul dragonilor” de Cornelia Funke este una dintre cele mai frumoase cărţi pe care le-am citit! Aventurile din această poveste sunt foarte palpitante şi interesante. Personajul principal al acestei poveşti este Lung, un dragon argintiu. Acesta trăieşte împreună cu semenii lui într-o vale bine ascunsă de oameni. Din nefericire, o şobolăniţă (pe care o chemă Roza, dar toată lumea îi spune Şobolina, şi care e prietenă cu Lung) aduce veşti rele pentru dragoni: „- Dar şobolăniţa asta are aşa un dar să te scoată din minţi cu toată vorbăria ei.../- Aşa? “Road to London” is a breath-taking book with “plots, treason and drama!” The main character is Thomas Munmore. He likes acting and his hero is William Shakespeare. Thomas doesn’t want to learn in a school where your masters give you really bad punishments. He doesn’t want to learn in a school where you have to stay at your desk and read Latin texts, sweating and with flies buzzing around your head. No, he wants have “an actor’s life”. “An exciting life filled with fame and fortune.” Thomas Munmore lives in Stratford with his father, his older sister, Beth, and his younger brother, John. “I am sick of school. I am sick of beatings.” is what Thomas says every time. One day, he gets into serious trouble: he has been caught... poaching. To tell the truth, I didn’t quite understand what “poaching” meant, but I found out only one thing about it: “Poaching was a dangerous game, and I had just lost.” Beth tells Thomas that he has to leave Stratford, so he can get out of trouble. “If worries weigh you down, find somewhere to hang them up.” This story is about a girl named Juliet Jennifer Jones. She lives with her mother, her father and her younger sister named Ophelia (but everyone calls her Oaf). Right next to their house, lives Nana in a granny flat. She goes to a craft class where she learns how to make/decorate things (with dried macaroni, for an example). The main character is, of course, Juliet. (Her annoying sister, Oaf, would probably say now: “Hey, that’s not fair! Why is Juliet the main character and not me?”) Juliet is also my favorite character! She tells the story very nice and I like the way she signs her name: JJJ. (“Written at the bottom in thick black marker were Juliet’s initials: JJJ, just like three umbrella handles in a row.”) It’s quite annoying when you have to share YOUR things with someone else... especially with your brother and your sister! Welcome to the wildest hotel in the world, The Whippet Hotel. Find out its secrets, by reading the book! The main character is Leo Fillmore. He is Clarence Fillmore’s son, the caretaker of the hotel. Leo is my favorite character! (“Leo was a small boy of ten, with a sizeable blob of curly hair on top of his head.”) I like him because he’s the only one who knows the hotel’s secrets! The Whippet Hotel was built by Merganzer D. Whippet. This hotel isn’t an ordinary one; it’s built quite strange... Let’s just call it: Mr. Whippet’s wacky “invention”. Merganzer D. Whippet is quite a strange man. He built a wacky hotel and afterwards he simply... vanished. Nobody had any idea where he could have gone...
