Danger in Webkinz World by Teodora Leon

One day, the king of the Webkinz World told everyone to come in the meeting room. Puffy, Kanga, Lilly, Rabby, Cheetah, Rainbow, Birdy and Kitty were worried. The king had meetings only when something dangerous was going to happen soon. All the Webkinz pets, Zumbuddies, Lil’ Kinz pets, Kinz Klips, Webkinz figurines, Zum Klips, Mazin’ Hamsters and Zodiac Pets went in the meeting room. At a big table, there were the king and the important persons from all the Webkinz World from different places: Webkinz Stadium, Job Office, Webkinz Academy, Magical Forest, Curio Shop, Kinzstyle Outlet, Wish Factory, Adoption Center and Dr. Ouack’s Hospital. The king was stressed. Everybody was feeling that something bad was happening. The king started to talk: “Good evening, everybody! We are gathered here together because something horrible is coming to our world!” All the animals started to whisper and one of them fainted. “Please, stay calm! We’re going to be attacked by some monsters, but I got a solution to be safe!” the king said. Everybody listened carefully. “We’re leaving the Webkinz World!” the king said. Everybody remained shocked. How could the king say something like that? Puffy tried to explain to the king that they can’t leave their world, but another animal asked: “Your Highness, how do you know that the monsters are coming to our world?” “You know that Alyssa is the smartest fairy in all the land and she knows things we don’t even think of it! She told me the news...” the king said. “But, Your Majesty, I don’t think that your idea is a good one!” Puffy said. “How dare you to say something like that to our king?” Arte asked angrily. “Stay calm, Arte, Puffy doesn’t have any fault. I want to hear what he has to say, please!” the king said. “Sorry, Your Highness!” Arte said, sad and disappointed. “No problem! Now, Puffy, why do you think that my idea is not a good one?” the king asked. “Well, Your Majesty, we were born here. We can’t let our home to be destroyed by some monsters! If we want to continue our lives in Webkinz World, we have to fight with the monsters and our land will be safe!” Puffy said. “She’s right!” said the animals. “But how can we defeat the monsters? They are stronger than us!” Alyssa said. Suddenly a letter appeared and landed on Puffy. Her friends looked at the letter. “What’s the letter saying?” Kanga asked. Puffy read the letter with a loud voice for everyone to hear. “It says: “Dear Puffy and the other friends, I know how to defeat the monsters. If you come to me, I’m going to explain you what to do. The map and the magic rope I gave you are going to help you. Good luck! Signed, a fan of yours”" “We’ve got a fan! Yeeeeeeeeee!” Lilly said, flying happy. “Maybe this fan of yours is going to be our rescuer! Go and find her! Everybody in this room wishes you good luck!” the king said. “Thank you, everybody, we will not disappoint you!” Rabby said, excited. Puffy and her friends went outside. “Who will be our leader?” Cheetah asked. “Puffy can be! She is a good leader!” Rainbow said and everyone accepted. “Ok, so I’m going to be the leader? All right, Kanga, you can take the magic rope and Lilly, the map. Lilly is going to tell us the directions!” Puffy said. Everyone started their trip to the mysterious fan who wrote to them!
They walked eight hours and they were hungry. “I’m hungry! Hey, maybe the magic rope can help us!” Birdy said. “How? We don’t even now how it...” Kanga said and suddenly, the magic rope hit the road and a table full of food appeared. “Magic!” Kitty said. Puffy and her friends ate until they were full! They started to walk again until they arrived at a high mountain. “How we are going to climb it?” Puffy asked. “With the magic rope, of course!” Kanga said, she threw the rope and it landed on the top of the mountain. “Come on, everybody, climb on the rope!” Kanga said. “We don’t need the rope, we can fly!” Lilly said and she flew with Birdy at the top of the mountain. Puffy and the others climbed on the rope. Kanga was the last one. “Come on, let’s go on walking!” Rabby said. “Where we have to go now, Lilly?” Cheetah asked. “To the right.” Lilly said, looking on the map. But the problem was that Lilly didn’t know which was left or right! So Puffy and her friends got lost! “Oh, no, Lilly, are you sure that you know which one is left and right?” Rainbow asked. “Well... er... aham, well... er, not exactly!” Lilly said. “Oh, no! Don’t tell me that we are lost!” Birdy said, frightened. “I’m afraid we are, Birdy!” Kitty said. “Oh, dear, what shall we do?” Puffy asked. Suddenly, a hole appeared and all the Webkinz pets and the Zumbuddy fell. Puffy fell in the front of a house. In the garden, there was a girl. “Hi, there, you must be one of the Webkinz pets!” the girl said. “That I am... yes, I am!” Puffy said, surprised. “Wait, how do you know that I’m a Webkinz pet?” Puffy asked and then he opened his mouth wide. “Are you...?” Puffy asked. “The girl who sent you the letter? Yes, you’re right! My name is Teodora. I’ve been waiting for you! But... where are your friends?” Teodora asked. Puffy changed her happy face into a sad one. “I don’t know... I...” Puffy said, but Teodora interrupted her. “Don’t worry, with my magic globe, we will find your friends!” she said. Puffy followed Teodora in her house. The magic globe was on a table. Teodora touched the globe and said: “Magic globe, magic globe, show me where Puffy’s friends are!” Puffy and Teodora saw Kanga first. She was in Australia and some strange and bad kangaroos were following her. “Oh, no! Kanga!” Puffy said, scared. After that they saw Lilly. She was on some clouds and three big eagles wanted to eat her. Rabby was avoiding some cages which wanted to catch her. Cheetah was in a jungle. A lot of leaves were keeping her tight and two snakes were getting closer to her. Rainbow was followed by The King of the Rain and wanted to get rid of her forever. Birdy was attacked by some horrible birds. Some cats were fighting with Kitty and they were stronger than her. “OH MY GOD! What shall we do? My friends are in danger!” Puffy said, worried. “Don’t worry, I’m going to talk with your buddies.” Teodora said. All the Webkinz who were in danger heard Teodora’s voice: “Listen to me, please. I’m going to explain you later who I am, but I want to tell you something. If you want to get rid of those creatures and be safe, you have to believe that you can defeat them!” “How? HOW? I can’t imagine that I can defeat those kangaroos!” Kanga asked. “You can, Kanga! Just believe, it’s a simple thing to do!” Teodora said. Kanga was suprised. That voice knew her name! After some seconds, Kanga, Lilly, Rabby, Cheetah, Rainbow, Birdy and Kitty closed their eyes tightly and imagined that they were safe. After that, they opened their eyes. They were with Puffy and Teodora. It really worked! All the Webkinz pets were happy! “Let me introduce myself to you! My name is Teodora, the girl who wrote the message to you!” Teodora said. “Wow, I must say that you are very clever! And thank you for helping us! I was almost caught by the cages!” Rabby said. “Yes! By the way, can you help us to get rid of those monsters who are attacking us and our world?” Cheetah asked. “Oh, yes! I’m sorry, but I forgot about those things! Come on, we must get back to Webkinz World!” Teodora said. “WHAT? We walked over here for a long time and we have to go back now?” Rainbow asked. “On the way to Webkinz World, we must find some crystals. They’re going to help us to defeat the monsters!” Teodora said. They went into a forest and started to look for the crystals. “Oh, we will never get in Webkinz World if we don’t find those crystals as soon as possible!” Birdy said. “Look, over here! The crystals are in the tree!” Teodora said. “Let me help you! Hoooo-ya!” Kitty said and she hit the tree with her leg. All the crystals fell down. “Wow, you really are good at karate!” Teodora said and took the crystals. “Come on, everybody, let’s save Webkinz World!” Puffy said. They got in their world just in time! “Wow, your world looks cool!” Teodora said. “Not for a long time! If we don’t get rid of those monsters, our world will be destroyed!” Kanga said. From a distance they could see the monsters coming. “Quickly! What we have to do?” Lilly asked. “Each of you will throw a crystal in the air and I will twirl those crystals with the magic rope. You will see what is going to happen!” Teodora said. Puffy, Kanga, Lilly, Rabby, Cheetah, Rainbow, Birdy, Kitty and Teodora went where all the other Webkinz pets were. “There you are! Everybody was worried about you!” the king said. Now the monsters were very closer to them! “Come on, you know what to do!” Teodora said. Puffy and her friends threw the crystals into the air and Teodora twirled them with the magic rope. From the crystals a big light appeared and the monsters shouted. They didn’t like the light very much! They disappeared in a moment! Everybody cheered! Now they were safe! “From this day, we have some important heroes: Puffy, Kanga, Lilly, Rabby, Cheetah, Rainbow, Birdy, Kitty and their new friend!” the king said. Puffy, Teodora and the others were proud to be the heroes of the Webkinz World! From that moment on, nothing attacked the Webkinz World and Teodora stayed with the Webkinz pets forever! And everybody lived happily ever after!
