Reading “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – The Third Wheel” and seeing Greg with lots and lots of chicken pox spots made me laugh for a whole hour! Greg looked so hilarious! I couldn’t possibly stop laughing! Well, now, it’s my turn to be laughed at... I have chicken pox, too! :( The good news is that I will miss school for three weeks! Hooray! :D The bad news is that I only have to stay indoors! What a pity! :| Right now, I feel just like Greg. We are a lot alike, you know! We both have chicken pox (just for now... :)) ), we both have annoying brothers and sisters and we both like to write in diaries... Or journals, like Greg would preferably say. If I think twice, I guess staying in the house isn’t that bad! I have enough time to read or to write on my blog at my laptop. And Greg has enough time to... well, take long baths. :)

S-a terminat vacanta de primavara... Dar distractia pare sa continue! Astazi a avut loc premierea concursului Reading Challenge, Story Lab! Anul acesta, premiile au fost acordate in alt mod, prin tragere la sorti. Eu am castigat un tricou, iar Vlad, un rucsac. Printre biletelele cu premii, se aflau si unele pe care scria “Oops, try again!”. Vlad a tras doar un biletel cu “Oops, try again!”. Pana sa primesc eu tricoul, am tras cinci biletele cu “Oops, try again!” sau “Better luck next time!”. :)) Astept cu nerabdare urmatorul concurs, Creepy House! :) S-au anuntat multe activitati distractive, care sa atraga cat mai multi cititori! ;)

În textul „Lectura în trei, în doi, de unul singur” de Rodica Zane este vorba despre cum autoarea a învăţat să citească şi să intre în lumea poveştilor. La început, lectura a fost în trei: autoarea, fratele ei, Mircea, şi un membru din familie care le citea câte o poveste înainte de culcare. Povestea preferată a autoarei şi a fratelui ei era „Foarte gras fără nas”. Era vorba despre un bob de mazăre... foarte gras şi fără nas. Când autoarea a început să meargă la şcoală şi să înveţe să citească, lectura a fost în doi: scriitoarea şi fratele ei, singuri. Le plăcea să citească „Legendele Olimpului” şi „Legendele şi miturile Greciei antice”. Nu după mult timp, autoarea a început să citească singură. Relua „Legendele Olimpului” şi „Legendele şi miturile Greciei antice”. Îi făcea plăcere să intre în lumea poveştilor! Autoarea ştia toţi zeii din legende, ei erau exact ca prietenii de joacă... Cât timp autoarea citea, creştea din ce în ce mai „mare”... Zeus şi Hera erau cei mai „mari”,

În această scriere, autoarea ne povesteşte cum a descoperit secretul unei cărţi... „Prima carte cu secret”, mai exact... În copilărie, scriitoarea, împreună cu fratele ei, Mihai, şi cu verişorii ei, Dina şi Dorin, au cunoscut un anticar bătrân şi cam ciudat. Anticariatul său avea foarte multe lucruri interesante de descoperit... Într-o zi, copiii l-au întrebat pe anticar care este data naşterii sale... Acesta nu le-a spus direct, i-a lăsat să descopere singuri... Le-a spus să caute data naşterii sale pe o carte care e la vedere şi care e legată de o femeie. Căutarea a durat şi n-a fost uşoară. Povestirea lui Bogdan Ghiu din antologia „Care-i faza cu cititul?” este o scrisoare trimisă nepoţicii sale, Anais. Bogdan Ghiu îşi îndeamnă nepoata să se joace cu cărţile, nu cu alte „jucării” ale lumii moderne: calculatorul, internetul, telefonul etc. Lectura unei cărţi înseamnă prelucrarea sufletului şi a minţii cititorului. În scrierea sa, autorul spune că noi, cititorii, ne „modelăm sculptural”, cu propriile mâini. Acest lucru vrea să spună de fapt că ne îmbogăţim cunoştinţele. Citind o carte, ne construim calea vieţii către succes. Jocurile de pe calculator oferă copiilor o lume virtuală, dar pe care nu pot să o prelucreze. În schimb, o carte oferă (câte) o lume fiecărui cititor (fiind percepută diferit de fiecare om în parte), o lume cu care oricine poate să facă orice. Poate să o schimbe, să o sculpteze, să o rescrie în mintea sa, în sufletul său. Lumea cărţilor e oglinda în care se uită de foarte multe ori cititorul. Cartea e cititorul.
