Stagiunea curenta a Teatrului National a inceput cu piesa Schimbarea. Pentru mine a fost un eveniment cu atat mai important cu cat in aceasta piesa joaca si sora mea, Miriam. Actiunea piesei are loc in Europa de Est, unde sistemul judiciar este foarte strict si complet diferit fata de cel din Vest. Nu exista justitie sau procese, prin urmare oamenii considerati vinovati de catre sistem n-au dreptul sa se apere. Acestia sunt torturati si executati. Piesa incepe cu discutia dintre Condamnat (Ada Lupu) si Soldat (Doru Aftanasiu). Condamnatul refuza sa raspunda la intrebarea referitoare la motivul pentru care se afla la inchisoare. Cei doi vorbesc despre diverse stiri de actualitate si politica. In curand isi face aparitia si Sotia Condamnatului (Pusa Darie). Atmosfera sumbra de pana acum dispare, fiind inlocuita de momente umoristice (bataia dintre Sotie si Soldat, dialogul acestora). The title might remind you of “Gulliver’s Travels” by Jonathan Swift. These two stories have a few things in common. However, “Lilliput” is about Lily, a tiny Lilliputian girl, who goes on a big adventure. Gulliver’s unusual travels have proven to be only bedtime stories for children... until one day. The giant returns to Lilliput, finds Lily on the beach and takes her back to his house in London. The little girl hates Gulliver and all the other giants (or yahoos , as she calls them). She tries to escape a lot of times, but none of her plans work. Have you ever had the chance to experience a whole afternoon in an authentic arcade? If not, then this brand new movie, “Pixels”, will give you the possibility to discover an incredible pixelated world and take part in one of the greatest battles in the history. The film was released this year, on the 24th of July, and it is directed by Chris Columbus. The story begins in the summer of 1982. Two friends, Sam Brenner and Will Cooper, go to a new opened arcade. Even though he’s never played an arcade game before, Brenner turns out to be an excellent player. His brilliant technique and his high scores book him a place in an arcade world championship. At the event the two buddies find out that a time capsule will be launched into space (containing elements of the present culture). Brenner and Cooper also make a new friend, Ludlow Lamonsoff, an intelligent boy who happens to have a crush on Lady Lisa, the main character of the game called Dojo Quest . I suppose everyone has heard of Gru and his despicable (but also silly) minion clan. Their first movie, “Despicable Me”, was a big success back in 2010. Since then, the characters (especially the minions) have been everywhere on the internet. You have pictures, videos, e-cards with them... Name it and you have it! I guess a lot of people have grown fond of these cheeky yellow creatures throughout the years. I often asked myself why minions are so popular. What makes them so appreciated? The way they look? The way they talk? Their weird language? The creators of “Despicable Me” have returned with a brand new sequel in which the minions are put into the spotlight. Probably the audience’s biggest wish... The movie was released this year, on the 10th of July, and it is directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin (also the voice of the minions). Drumul spre Mont Saint Michel a insemnat trecerea peste podul Pont de Normandie. Such a heavenly view... Mont Saint Michel a fost, fara indoiala, unul dintre cele mai frumoase locuri pe care le-am vizitat. Aceasta manastire este inconjurata de apa. In timpul fluxului, Mont Saint Michel pare sa fie pe o insula, iar in timpul refluxului, pe o peninsula, fiind in contact cu continentul. In jurul manastirii se afla un sat, o multime de magazine si diverse restaurante in care poti sa incerci mancaruri specifice Normandiei. Desi Mont Saint Michel este un obiectiv turistic foarte cunoscut, nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de plin de turisti! Ne-am plimbat pe strazile inguste ale satului si am intrat in mai multe magazine de suveniruri. Am mancat si vestita omleta a lui Mere Poulard. Pescarusii zburau in voie in jurul muntelui... Desi n-am prins fluxul marii, privelistea din jur era incantatoare! Cerul era senin, cu cativa nori presarati pe ici, pe colo, iar in locul un

Road trip-ul a continuat cu Franta, mai exact Normandia. Ne-am oprit intr-un orasel, Le Havre, care este situat pe coasta de nord a Frantei, la Canalul Manecii. Portul orasului este al doilea ca marime in Franta. Desi am petrecut doar o seara in Le Havre, am avut parte de o plimbare placuta pe malul oceanului. Cel mai mult m-a atras "station clock-ul" din centrul orasului. Dupa acest popas, urmatoarea destinatie a fost Mont Saint Michel... Mai multe informatii in curand...

Dupa Legoland, urmatoarea destinatie a fost Amsterdam. Am stat la Hotelul Radisson Blu, unde ne-a placut foarte mult... Inclusiv motanului meu, Tommy... Dar revin cu mai multe detalii despre acest lucru in curand... ;) Primul loc vizitat a fost faimosul muzeu al pictorului Vincent van Gogh. Am admirat multimea tablourilor pictate in culori vii. La intrarea in muzeu, Miri a primit un quiz cu diverse cerinte. Ajutand-o sa raspunda la intrebari, am aflat mai multe informatii legate de viata pictorului. Cel mai mult m-au impresionat tablourile cu flori pe care le gaseai la ultimul etaj. :) In ciuda faptului ca Amsterdam nu este la fel de mare ca alte orase europene, strazile sale sunt mereu pline de turisti. Poti sa eviti cu usurinta aglomeratia si sa te relaxezi, fie plimbandu-te pe langa siruri lungi de case, fie privind vaporasele ce trec pe nenumaratele canale ale Amsterdamului. M-as reintoarce oricand la Amsterdam! As vrea ca intr-o zi sa merg la Muzeul Annei
